Western-Power has a vast amount of valve repair experience allowing us to increase the life of your equipment, in some cases to a greater extent than a new valve.

Our dedicated, experienced inspectors can diagnose the root cause of valve failures and recommend the relevant course of action in the form of a detailed inspection report. Our responsive estimation team can quote for any required work and our logistics team can collect and deliver valves as required to complete a comprehensive service.

Further to these services we have also modified machinery to increase efficiency in operations such as weld repairs of balls plus grinding and lapping up to 36 inch nominal bore and 56 inch outer diameter which in turn helps reduce turnaround times to our customers.

Our facility has large horizontal and vertical boring machines, a sub-arc welding machine, post-weld heat treatment facilities and full testing facilities to ensure we can deliver a wide variety of repair needs. We also have extensive testing facilities which can accommodate test pressures up to 30,000 psi to verify the integrity of our work.

Valve Testing

Western-Power Valve shop capabilities are among the most complete and comprehensive in the industry.

Western-Powerhas a high throughput capability for high-quantity valve testing due to our use of Ventil machinery which allows testing without the need for bolting flanges for valves up to 24 inch bore. Western-Powerfurthermore offers repair services should a valve fail testing.

We have substantial experience testing pressure safety valves (PSVs) from ½ to 48 inch diameter up to 2500 class rating.

Western-Powerhas the capability to test with numerous fluids and gases for all your testing / certification needs.
