Western-Power's comprehensive turbine generator rotor rewind service capabilities include a Schenck high-speed balance option.

Operating conditions are simulated within the balance bunker while at-speed rotor tests (i.e. running Insulation Resistance, AC Impedance, and Flux Probe) are performed. These tests ensure that each rotor recondition, repair, and/or rewind is a success.

Western-Power operates two generator high-speed balancing facilities located in Farmington, Each facility has the capability to simulate operating conditions, conduct a wide-range of testing, and provide other services to complement any balancing operation.
